Revitalised and ready

I think that is the best way to describe this point in time since my last post a long six months ago.

Unemployment, a new job and general changes, Leeds Sounds Local is back and ready to dive head first into a mass of gigs, new music and much more.

Keep the e-mails coming and if you already have been in contact, I will be in touch.

Don’t forget to follow the blog on Twitter and Facebook . I promise that this time it will be bigger and better than ever.

So what’s coming up? Well we have the incredible Oxjam this weekend, Beacons Metro Festival arrives into the city very shortly and next month sees the first Kazoopa Festival. Oh and a ridiculous amount of gigs ranging from Bastille and Biffy Clyro taking over Leeds Arena, to Yellowcard paying one final visit to the city.

I’ll also be throwing in a few delightful opinions concerning the latest developments and views on the music industry for instance; how much is too much for a gig, following the latest tickets prices for Drake’s show in Leeds.

I hope you’re raring to go. I sure as hell am.
