What is the goal?

Following the Live at Leeds 2014 announcement and tasking myself with featuring as many bands involved as possible, I have had an amazing response so far from bands willing to contribute. Thank you to all!

The idea behind this came from my past experiences of attending Live at Leeds. I would spend hours in the weeks before the festival looking up the bands. Sometimes I’d wait until the day itself and want to find out more after the event.

I’m hoping this blog will be able to hold that information and achieve this goal.

So here it will begin; from now until May expect to find features, audio/video clips, tour dates, reviews and photographs all about the bands involved.

Let’s do this.

The anticipation is here

At this time of year, whilst most people are suffering January blues, I often look for the many positives. Or at least try.

The one that creates the similar amount of excitement as Christmas Day is the announcement of the Live at Leeds announcement. This will be my 7th year in a row attending the event, and admittedly it’s like a good addiction; I just can’t seem to stay away.

My intention, using this as a starting point is to provide my opinions and ‘tips’ on mainly the artists, however I’m sure a guide to the venues they’ll be inhabiting will be provided too. Hey I may even venture into creating a virtual map of the day, I wouldn’t get your hopes up though.

So with my alarm set for 18:55pm, here’s to the first announcement…
